DEPUTIZE (13) is back after a break of four-and-a-half months. At the last run before the layoff he finished fifth over 6f at Sunshine Coast. Looks up to the mark following a trial win at Deagon. Has ability and sure to prove tough to beat. HERE'S MASON (2) is still a maiden after 14 starts. Managed to find the placings at this track two starts back before finishing sixth over 5f190yards at this track last time. Cannot be left out of calculations. CHURCH ROCK (9) has not raced since his debut back on July 7 when he finished fourth over 5f21yards at this track. Better for that run and can improve sharply. ROMI (7) hit the frame two starts ago at this track but ran below par last time when 11th and beaten 10 lengths over 5f136yards at this track. Open to improvement and should be about the money.
