TOP ACT (11) was prominent at the bend and ran a better race last start to finish a close third over 7¾f at Murwillumbah after missing the placings at the previous appearance. Well placed and there is no reason she cannot find winning ways. MYSTIC WAY (10) is a four-start maiden who could only manage to finish 12th at her latest appearance over 6f at Port Macquarie. Likely to be in the finish in this suitable assignment. RISK FOR REWARD (4) resumed over 6f last time out and turned in a solid effort to finish fourth at Murwillumbah. Yet to miss the frame over this longer journey. One of the better hopes. HE'S POPLAR (2) ran below expectations last time at this track, finishing eighth and beaten 5 lengths. Worth another chance.
