CRIMSON SKY (7) turned in a nice run when fresh from a lay-off two starts back at Lismore then missed the placings last time when 8 lengths from the winner in sixth over 5f212yards at this track. Fitter and well-placed to turn things around. ROX'N'ROL (15) returns from a layoff of three-and-a-half months. Worth noting she filled a minor placing when returning from a lay-off last time in work over 5f at Ballina. Rates highly and makes plenty of appeal. PIANIST (8) finished third at Sunshine Coast two runs back but didn't measure up last time over 6f at Ipswich, finishing 6 lengths back in eighth. Nicely placed to make amends. SHORE TO HAPPEN (9) produced a better run last start at the second run of the prep, beaten 0.6 lengths into fourth over 5½f at Beaudesert. Likely improver with strong top-three prospects.
