Commenced last prep with a minor placing at Newcastle over 4½f. Has trialled very well leading into this. Has ability and sure to prove tough to beat. BARRON (19) finished third, beaten 1.4 lengths, when resuming from a lay-off last start over 5f32yards at this track after he did his best work late. Placed to advantage so expect a big run. CARBROOK (2) is yet to break through in six runs but has been thereabouts. Placed in a then was 2 lengths away in fourth over 5f32yards at this track last time. Shapes well and is among the main hopes. MORE ELEMENTS (5) is back from a break of six months. Raced below par at his only appearance last prep when ninth over 7f27yards at this track. Among the better hopes.
