Likely to be in the finish. FLOODGATES (1) is back after a break of five months. At the last run before the layoff she finished sixth over 5½f at Gosford. Ran fifth in a recent trial at Canterbury. Set for a bold return. PRETTY CHEEKY (14) is appearing for the first time. By Written Tycoon and hails from the G Ryan & S Alexiou stable. Looks forward enough after a Rosehill trial win. Bold showing expected. MARVEL MAN (8) was in contention on the bend and finished second last time over 5f at this track when resuming from a lay-off, beaten 1.75 lengths. Nicely placed to run well again.
