ONE SMART COOKIE (3) did a fair job on debut last time out, finishing a head from the winner in second over 5f at Wagga. Leading player with plenty of improvement in store. INVADE AND CONQUER (1) is a maiden resuming from a break of five months. Primed for this with a win in a recent Warwick Farm trial. Has ability and is right in this. RUSSIAN SNITZEL (2) resumes from a lay-off of three-and-a-half months and looked close to a win before that break, finishing off with a minor placing over 5½f at Wyong. Has trialled well leading into this. Nicely placed and can kick this campaign off on a bright note. SIZZLING TALE (6) is yet to break through but has been in the money four times including last start when second over 5½f at Hawkesbury. Goes well at this journey with two minor placings to her credit. Won't find this as tough. Has to be respected in this company.
