BON FRANKIE (2) performed above expectations last time over 7f at Moruya, finishing 0.6 lengths from the winner in third after starting at huge odds. Good record at this journey with three wins and three minor placings from seven starts and is sure to run well. GUNDY GUY (8) went forward and proved too strong last time out, scoring by 1.2 lengths over 6½f at Canberra. Needs to be at his best to beat this field but he is good enough to play a major role. SIR MING (9) was in the money two starts back at this track but was unable to repeat the effort last time when sixth, beaten 3 lengths, at Moruya over 7f. Suitably placed so anticipating a big run this time. ZOUATICA (1) turned in a nice effort to score two runs ago but couldn't follow that up last time out when tenth over 7f at Moruya, beaten 4 lengths. Nicely placed to feature in the finish.
