MIDNIGHT EMPRESS (5) won her maiden three starts back and is nearing another victory with placings at her last two runs, most recently when third over 6f at this track (Dirt). Has a good association with Christian J Navarro with a run of three top-three results. Should be hard to stop. MIDNIGHT MINDSET (3) is usually thereabouts but finds it hard to win, with only one victory from 16 starts. Again tasted defeat last start when eighth over 5½f at this track, beaten 14 lengths. Best figures measure up nicely. Makes plenty of appeal. CHUBACHUBACHOCHOO (1) proved too strong two runs ago at this track. Not as effective last time out when fourth over 6f at this track, beaten 12 lengths after being in the firing line on the turn. Beautifully placed and is sure to prove tough to beat. EMPRESS PALPATINE (2) made progress last start to finish second over 6f at this track. Capable of featuring prominently.
