CARDINAL TRICK (2) showed little early dash last start but found the line strongly to get up for third, beaten 4.5 lengths, over this course and distance. Blinkers added so the stable might have him peaking. ATTA BOY LLOYD (6) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 5f at Los Alamitos, beaten 11 lengths into fifth. This is a nice drop in grade so he is sure to be prominent. TIGER ATTACK (3) ended up 11 lengths behind the winner in seventh on debut last start over 5½f at this track (Synthetic). Will take a lot from that experience. Top-three chance. MAVERICK ROSE (5) led early and was still in the firing line on the turn before tiring to finish seventh over 5½f at this track (Synthetic) last time out. Finds a suitable assignment this time and can improve.
