SOBUTE (22) is a five-start maiden who resumed from a lay-off last start and was beaten 3 lengths when fifth over 5f at Eagle Farm. Improvement to come and this is his chance to break through. FRENCH RIVIERA (9) resumed from a lay-off last start with a sound third over 6f at Doomben. This is a nice race and can take this out. BOOTS WITH THE FUR (2) was solid on debut last start, winding up nicely at the end of 5f to finish third at this track. Promising type who is well placed over the longer trip. THREE TEES (17) was out of the money when resuming from a lay-off last start over 5f at this track, beaten 2.75 lengths. Fitter so expect a better run this time.
