AMALGAMATION (4) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start when he got a long way back over 1m3f at Doomben, beaten 4.5 lengths into eighth. This is a nice drop in grade so he is a major player. CAMELOT STAR (9) turned in an eye-catching run over 1m5 1/4f at Ballina last time, ridden back before coming home with a powerful run to finish second. Will drift back but is expected to be in the finish again. YA LOVE HER (1) finished out of the money two starts back then was beaten 0.9 lengths when fifth over 1m3f at Grafton three-and-a-half weeks ago. Suitably placed so anticipating a big run this time. SOKUDO (5) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 1m at Sunshine Coast Poly, beaten 7 lengths into fourth. Likely improver with strong top-three prospects.
