FAST DA (2) was in the money at this track when resuming two runs back then could only manage fourth at Dalby over 7f five weeks ago. Will drift back but wind up late. Tough to beat on best. Can open winning account. THUNDER SHANGHAI (7) finished 5.5 lengths away in seventh last time out over 6¾f at Ipswich three-and-a-half weeks ago. Tackles a longer journey this time. Backmarker who gets home hard. Among the main hopes. TRAPEZE TORQUE (3) finished 4.5 lengths from the winner in fourth last start over 6¾f at Warwick, an improvement on his eighth at Grafton the run before. Tackling a deeper field this time but he is worth another chance. COCO JEWEL (5) went forward last start over 7f152yards at this track and held on well for second, beaten 2.5 lengths. Suitably placed so anticipating another big run.
