HIGHLAND HILL (2) finished 1.2 lengths away in fourth last time out over 1m3f at Sunshine Coast after being prominent at the turn three weeks ago. Steps up in journey. Should park just off the speed. Leading contender. DELORME (6) missed the placings two runs back then didn't feature last start when 5.5 lengths away in sixth over 1m3f at Sunshine Coast. Likely improver with strong prospects. SUBAQUA (5) ran a little below his best last start when 12th over 1m2 1f at Ipswich. May appreciate the longer journey this time. Has the pace to be in a prominent position from the outset. One of the main contenders. BACKLIT BEAUTY (7) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 1m2f at Murwillumbah, beaten 7 lengths into fourth. Better than recent efforts suggest.
