LOOKS (3) pushed forward last time and boxed on to finish 0.7 lengths away in second over 7f at Northam. Must raise the bar but he has the talent to test this line-up. FIRST BEACH (7) is high on confidence after scoring by a long neck over 5½f at Bunbury last time out. Will appreciate the drop in the weights. Leading contender again. MIA GUSTO (2) has not won for a long while. Last raced on September 28 when beaten 3 lengths into fourth at Belmont Park over 6f. Likely improver with strong prospects. SUPER SALSA (10) scored a 0.9 lengths win on dirt at Carnarvon in a then followed up with a minor placing, again on dirt, at Mt Magnet over 6f three weeks ago. Going well. Don't underestimate back on turf.
