JOVITA (4) is back from a lay-off of three-and-a-half months. Closed last campaign with a minor placing over 7f152yards at Gold Coast Poly. Looks a winning chance. KOZANI (8) was out of the money when resuming two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 6f at Toowoomba, beaten 2.5 lengths into fourth after being in the firing line on the bend. Suitably placed so anticipating a big run this time. TOO HARD TO REFUSE (1) hit the frame two starts ago at Doomben but ran below par last time when sixth and beaten 2 lengths over 6¾f at Doomben after being in the firing line on the turn. Yet to miss the placings from four starts at this circuit. Faces an easier assignment so he is perfectly placed to score. GRANNY'S REWARD (9) won at this track two starts ago but was below her best at a more recent appearance, finishing sixth over 6¾f at Warwick. Has started two times at this course and distance and is yet to miss the placings. Likely improver with top-three prospects.
