ROTHGATE (3) ran below expectations last time at Dubbo, finishing fifth and beaten 2 lengths starting at 6/1. Finds a nice race and can make amends. CALMUNDI (5) showed early speed from a good draw last time but was swamped late and finished ninth, beaten 6 lengths, over 5f at Dubbo. Expected to do much better. PLAY THE RECORD (6) was an impressive maiden winner last time out, scoring by 1.5 lengths over 5f at Grenfell. Shaping up nicely and he is worth including. RAINING CUBES (1) looks to kick off this prep the way he ended the last 15 months ago when he scored over 5½f at Bathurst. Capable of playing a big role.
