POIFECT (4) is a talented mare who tackled tougher grade last time, finishing 3.5 lengths behind Revolutionary Miss over 7f in the G2 Rose Of Kingston Stakes at this track. Has a high cruising speed. Will give a great sight. RUNNING BY (5) was in contention on the turn but turned in a mediocre run last time out over 7f in the G2 Let's Elope Stakes at this track after a nice win the start prior. It doesn't get any easier but on her best form she is good enough to take this out. ROOTS (1) drifted well back and failed to finish it off last start when 12th, beaten 8 lengths, over 7f in the G2 The Invitation at Randwick. The engagement of James Mcdonald is noteworthy. Finds a more suitable contest and can find winning form. SECOND TO NUN (3) hasn't made an impact like last campaign, the latest a fifth over 1m2 1/4f in the G3 JRA Cup at Moonee Valley. Overdue for a win and merits respect.
