ISTHMUS (10) showed good early pace over 5f at Sandown-Hillside when resuming last time and kept going to score by 2.2.5 lengths. Best figures measure up. Sure to run well. ZESTIMAN (13) looks close to a win, finishing in the placings at his last couple of runs including a third most recently over 6f43yards at Geelong when beaten 2.5 lengths. Facing a tougher assignment but should be hard to stop. SIMPLE TIMES (7) had been in great form winning two on end before missing the frame last time when eighth over 5f at Sale. Will find this tougher but is one of the contenders. NOVA LIGHTS (17) last appeared when she finished second over 6½f at Sandown-Hillside on May 8. Worth plenty of thought.
