MY BEST SHOT (1) made it back-to-back wins when successful last start over 7f at this track, getting home by 1.3 lengths. Winning rider Richard Fourie retains the mount. Tackling a deeper field this time but he is capable of running another bold race. THE MASK (3) was out of the money when resuming from a lay-off last start over 5f at Durbanville, beaten 3.5 lengths. Facing a tougher assignment but he is fitter and worth serious consideration. ON MY HONOUR (4) scored last start at Fairview All Weather to make it two wins from three starts this campaign. Should be prominent from the outset. Winning claims on best figures. WALT WHITMAN (5) won at Fairview All Weather two starts ago but was below his best at a more recent appearance, finishing sixth over 1m2f at Fairview All Weather. Finds a nice race and can atone.
