COASTAL PATH (1) finished second two runs back at Fairview All Weather then improved last time out to score by a nose as favourite over 6f at Fairview All Weather. Richard Fourie scored on him last time and retains the ride. Well placed and there is no reason he cannot score again. GUARDING THE WALL (8) has been thereabouts lately without being able to break through, the latest effort a third at Fairview All Weather over 7f. Luyolo Mxothwa has registered three minor placings when on board. Should be hard to stop. GOLDEN CORN (7) resumes in a similar race to her only run last prep back on July 26 when 16th, beaten 11 lengths. Has the pace to settle in the leading division. Winning claims on best figures. EXPLOSIVE SPEED (2) was unplaced two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 7f at this track, beaten 5 lengths into fourth. Nicely placed to find some form.
