HOLDING THUMBS (9) has been freshened up for this after he was strongly fancied last time but beaten 7 lengths into sixth over 1m at Durbanville. Last run worth forgiving. Can atone. GLOBAL ALLY (2) was well fancied last start over 1m1 1/2f at Fairview All Weather when second, beaten 2.75 lengths. Richard Fourie who has scored on him four times retains the mount. Sure to run well. FATEFUL DAY (4) is putting together some solid results. Finished third at this track two starts back then got the job done by 3 lengths last time out over 1m at Fairview All Weather. Nicely placed to take this out. SEQUOIA (1) ran a better race last start to finish a close third over 7f at this track after missing the placings at the previous appearance. Likely to hold the form and is a strong top-three prospect.
