TOTAL SURPRISE (2) doesn't boast the best winning strike rate but ran a nice race when fresh from a spell last time out, finishing third and beaten only 1.5 lengths over 7½f at this track (Dirt) after being in the firing line on the turn.Finds a suitable assignment and can get the job done.QUIET AS MIDNIGHT (6) opened this campaign last start with a third, beaten 5 lengths, over 1m1/2f at this track.Has sound form here including a win and two minor placings from four starts.Expecting a bold showing.BAYOU CHROME (3) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start when he got a long way back over 1m at Horseshoe Indianapolis, beaten 7 lengths into fifth.This doesn't look as hard so he is sure to be prominent.LOST GOLD (8) did very well to fill a minor placing when resuming at this track but raced below expectations last time over 7½f at this track (Dirt), finishing sixth and beaten 20 lengths.Nicely placed to make amends.
