RED SASH (3) resumed from a lay-off last start with a close second over 6f at Fairview. Tackles a synthetic track for the first time. Solid top-three chance. KABON KAPI (6) failed to run a strong 6½f last start after a close third over 6f at this track the run prior. Kept fresh since that last run so worth forgiving. ALLENDE (7) made progress last start to finish second over 6½f at this track. Worth noting Luyolo Mxothwa goes aboard. Capable of featuring prominently.
