ESTHER (2) was sent out at long odds last time but ran above expectations to finish second, beaten only one length, over 6f at Fairview. Should be prominent from the outset. Expected to be in the finish. VEGAS GOLD (3) is progressing well this campaign. Opened with a seventh at Fairview two starts back then got the job done by 1.5 lengths last time out over 5f at Fairview. Likely to be there at the finish again. POMPEI WARNING (10) finished sixth two runs back at Fairview then improved last time out to score by 1.3 lengths over 6f at Fairview. Steps up a level but he is up to the task. FERRANDO (13) finished second last time over 5f at Fairview, beaten 2.75 lengths. Will trim down following recent racing. In the right race and is worth serious consideration.
