Has a strong record at this journey and should go well again. CLIFF TOP (2) finished seventh last start, beaten 3 lengths, over 6f at this track. Is yet to miss the frame from six starts at this distance, including three wins. Richard Fourie who has scored on him four times retains the mount. Bold showing expected. EVIES FIRST (3) improved sharply on his eighth two starts back at this track with a win over 6f at Fairview two-and-a-half weeks ago, getting home by a nose. Won't find this as tough so he is all set to build on that latest effort. LEDELL'S ECHO (4) returns from a lay-off. Finished fourth at this track and distance at his only appearance last prep 12 weeks ago. Has good early speed so should take up a forward position. Deserves respect on best figures.
