DEMOLITION DUKE (5) is a progressive four-year-old entire who hasn't raced since finishing third over 1m1/2f at Ellis Park (Turf) on June 17 which was the only run of that prep. Has never missed the frame when fresh from a lay-off in two starts. Should be in the finish. MESA SPIRIT (3) finished a 1.3 lengths second on dirt at this track in a then followed up with another minor placing on dirt at this track over 6f three-and-a-half weeks ago. In sound form and looks a major player. SON OF A BIRCH (8) is back after a break of 11 weeks. Started the last campaign in good style when in the placings over 5½f at Churchill Downs. Looks one of the genuine hopes in the race. WESTERN COMMAND (1) produced a good run two starts back to finish third but disappointed last time when out of the placings at this track (Dirt) over the same trip. Has his share of talent. Hard to beat in this suitable race.
