Last run worth forgiving. Can atone. NORTHERN INVADER (7) was well fancied last start over 1m1/2f in the LR Commonwealth Turf Stakes at Churchill Downs (Dirt) when second, beaten 4.5 lengths. Nice class drop this time. Should measure up in this field. DESERT DUKE (5) returned from a lay-off five-and-a-half weeks ago when he was prominent at the corner before being beaten 2.75 lengths into sixth over 1m1/2f at this track. Fitter so can figure in the finish.
