BACK ON DE QUO (4) missed the placings on debut then improved last start when he made late ground but found a couple better over 5½f at Grafton, beaten 1.5 lengths. Looks well placed so expect another big run. BOULANGER (1) comes here off a break of four-and-a-half months. Worth noting he filled a minor placing when returning from a lay-off last prep over 6f at this track. Has ability and should be right in the finish. DAIMYO (2) was prominent at the bend and finished second last start over 6¼f at Ballina, beaten 0.8 lengths. Likely improver with strong prospects. ONEONONE (6) finished third last start at the first run back from a lay-off over 5f at Bowraville, beaten 1.2 lengths. Must raise the bar but a big run is on the cards.
