MCLEAN (3) proved too strong two runs ago at this track. Not as effective last time out when fourth over 6f at this track, beaten 5.5 lengths after being in contention on the turn. Suitably placed so anticipating a better run this time. HIS GIANT (4) started at 2/1 last time but could only manage fourth, beaten 4 lengths, at Fonner Park over 4f. Last run worth forgiving. Can atone. SLITHER (2) showed good early dash last start and held on well to finish 5.5 lengths back in third over 5f at this track (Dirt). In the right race and is a winning hope. MUCHO MARVIN (5) finished second last start at the first run back from a lay-off over 5f at this track (Dirt), beaten 5 lengths. Hard to beat in this suitable race.
