SHELLBY (4) missed the placings two runs back then improved last start but found a couple better over 5½f at this track, beaten 2.25 lengths after being in contention on the corner. Well placed and there is no reason she cannot find winning ways. A WISH FOR MADELYN (1) finished out of the money two starts back then was beaten 11 lengths when fourth over 7f at this track four weeks ago. Best figures measure up nicely. Sure to run well. SAY WHAT (2) closed last campaign with back-to-back placings, the last of which was at Delta Downs three-and-a-half months ago. Winning rider J Stokes sticks. Expected to measure up. VALTESSE (5) got the prize two runs ago but was less impressive last time out when fifth over 5½f at this track, beaten 8 lengths. One of the main hopes.
