ELDER MACK (1) looks close to a win after finishing in the money at both runs, the latest when second at this track (Dirt) over 6f. Has the pace to be in a prominent position from the outset. Will prove tough to beat. R BARRACUDA (2) has been racing in great heart with two top-three finishes on end, the latest a second over 6½f at this track (Dirt) when he was always up in the leading division. Finds a suitable race and can go on to take this out. SIR ARGENTO (5) is a four-start maiden who could only manage to finish fourth at his latest appearance over 6½f at this track (Dirt). Cannot be ruled out in this suitable assignment. DRIVE TRAIN (8) missed the placings when resuming two runs back then improved last start but found a couple better over 6f at this track, beaten 4.5 lengths. This looks a good race for him and there is no reason he cannot find winning ways.
