Has a formidable record at this journey with three wins and three placings from seven starts and is a key runner. Group 2 placegetter FAR TOO EASY (1) returns after a lay-off of eight months. Looking to emulate his win at this track to kick off the last campaign. Rates highly and is likely to be prominent. KING KAPA (2) has been thereabouts without winning, the latest finishing a 0.8 lengths fourth in the LR Ramornie Handicap at Grafton over 6f. Will find this much tougher but should be competitive.
