VIMINELE (1) improved sharply on his fourth two starts back at Doomben with success as favourite over 1m1/4f at Doomben two weeks ago, getting home by a neck. This looks a sterner test than last time but on his best form he is right in contention. AWASH (7) finished 3 lengths from the winner in fifth last start after being in the firing line on the turn over 1m at Randwick, an improvement on his seventh at Randwick the run before. Beautifully placed and is sure to take a ton of beating. Group 3 placegetter MENAZZI (8) struggling to break through and over a year since a win, last start finishing third over 1m1/4f at Doomben. Looks suited and can find winning form again here. CHAYSE 'N' ARTIE (6) settled towards the tail when resuming last start then wound up strongly to score by 0.9 lengths over 6¾f at Ipswich. In form and will be running on hard again.
