BLUE SPINEL (6) was well supported when resuming last time out over 5f at this track and proved too strong, scoring by 2.25 lengths. Fitter for that last hitout and is the testing material. BLACK ON BEAUTY (5) was thereabouts when resuming last start over 6f at this track, finishing ninth and beaten 1.75 lengths. Loves racing here and has managed two wins from three visits. Has the pace to settle in the leading division. Sure to be in the finish. BUBBA'S BAY (1) finished third as favourite last time out over 5½f at Canterbury, making it two minor placings from three starts this time in work. Form at this distance strong with two wins so she looks a genuine threat. SABALENKA (7) did a great job to score by a nose over this course and distance last start in a much improved run. No reason she cannot salute again.
