PETERSHAM (16) made considerable ground in the run home to finish third last start over 6¾f at Doomben. Sure to be putting in the big strides late again. SCHMOOZER (9) opened this campaign with a win two runs back then finished 2.25 lengths from the winner in fifth last start over 7f at this track. Can turn things around. CASTILLIAN (8) was well fancied last time but could only manage second over 1m at Randwick when he was set a big task from a rearwards position. Drawn to enjoy a good run. Deserves another chance. RED TOP (4) resumed two weeks ago over 7f at this track and was only beaten 1.75 lengths into fourth. Fitter this time will prove harder to beat.
