WINTER RAINFALL (6) was resuming from a lay-off of three months last start when a solid second over this course and distance. Has good early speed so should take up a forward position. Sure to be in the finish. SPEED RACER (2) was always forward and boxed on to finish second over 6¼f at this track last time. Has the speed to be prominent. Expecting a bold showing. NIGHT BOMBER (5) was a strong winner last time over 6¼f at this track, scoring by a nose and making it two on end. Can measure up again. SOOTY (3) was sent out favourite but could only finish fifth over 6¼f at this track last time. Prior to that had been racing well, collecting two minor placings on end. Should be prominent from the outset. Should give backers a sight.
