Longstanding maiden EPAULAWN (9) finished one spot behind GARDONE (7) when second over course and distance. Armed with the fitting of first-time blinkers and a swing in the weights he could reverse placings while the latter may give a good account off this revised rating though stall thirteen is of some concern. The draw also has done no favours for PICPOUL (1) who still needs to be considered having shaped well when third tackling 1m4f at this venue. CHOPSTICKS (6) might get involved for the placings.
