HAMMOON SUMMER (9) was well fancied but below her best at the last run before a break on August 20 finishing tenth over 6½f at Narromine. Starts this prep with Grant Buckley taking charge. Rates highly on best figures so a bright return will not surprise. TAORMINA SAILOR (2) finished 3 lengths from the winner in fourth last start after being prominent at the turn over 6f at this track, an improvement on his fifth on debut at Orange the run before. Nicely placed to break the maiden status. DARCY'S ACE (5) returns after six months in the paddock. Closed the last campaign with a ninth over 7f at this track. Nicely placed and can get off the mark. JOISELLE (10) is facing the starter for the first time. By Snitzel and hails from the Brett Cavanough stable. Worth watching for a betting push.
