METALART (7) is close to a win but starting to prove costly after a second at this track but down in the weights. Going well without winning and expected to prove a top chance. I AM ARTIE (1) built on a nice second two starts back at this track with a win as favourite over 6f at Sunshine Coast two weeks ago, getting home by a head. Best figures measure up. Sure to run well. END ASSEMBLY (10) has been knocking on the door with a couple of recent placings, the latest when third at this track, and gets some weight relief. Should be poised just off the lead. Will give backers a great sight. QUEEN AIR (11) is a five-year-old mare who is having her first run for the Tony Gollan stable. Hasn't raced since finishing eighth at Caulfield five months ago. Ran sixth in a trial at Doomben over 5f and looks nicely placed. Has to be respected.
