ATMOSPHERE (9) Group 3 placegetter. Travelled on-pace last time out over 7f at Sunshine Coast and dug deep when pressured but found one better. Has a win and eight minor placings at this journey from 11 starts and is sure to go well. ROCKRIBBED (4) is in great form, lifting strongly to score last start over 6¾f at this track to make it two in succession. Should be prominent despite the awkward gate. Among the leading chances. EXCELLADUS (3) showed good early speed and raced on the pace last start before fading to finish fourth, beaten 2.25 lengths, over 7f at Rosehill. Another bold showing is expected. NED'S GULLY (6) settled at the rear then stoked up nicely in the straight to finish fifth over 5½f here last time. Outsprinted in the run home but kept coming and the extra ground looks a big plus. Can sneak into the finish.
