DIRT CHEAP (8) has two wins and one placing from three runs this campaign. Scored last start by 1.3 lengths at Ipswich over 6¾f after being up on the pace all the way. Taking on a better field but he is capable of a big run. SET TO SHINE (2) got the job done last start at this track over this distance after she was prominent at the corner. Has never been out of the money in three starts at this trip, including two wins. Drawn to enjoy a nice run just off the lead. Will give a great sight. CASTILLIAN (10) has not won for a long while. Last raced on August 17 when beaten 1.3 lengths into fifth at this track over 6¾f. Best figures measure up nicely. Can do a lot better. BETTER BE NORDY (4) was in a different class last time, sitting just off the speed before letting down impressively for a 2 length win at Sunshine Coast over 7f. Solid top-three chance.
