TAKE THE PRIZE (8) has recorded seven minor placings from nine runs this campaign. Was in the firing line all the way and finished 3 lengths from the winner in third last time out over 7f at Horsham. Looks well placed so expect another big run. MUSELET (9) returned from a lay-off two weeks ago when she was prominent at the turn before being beaten 4 lengths into sixth over 7f80yards at Kyneton. Fitter so anticipating a better run this time. SIR WILLIAM BRUCE (12) was in the money two starts back at Deniliquin but was unable to repeat the effort last time when sixth, beaten 5.5 lengths, at Echuca over 6½f. Finds a nice race and can atone. DIZZY BARMAID (6) doesn't win out of turn but ran a strong race last time out over 7f at Horsham, finishing third and beaten 0.7 lengths. Well placed and should be about the money.
