LONDIANI (3) did little and finished 25 lengths from the winner in ninth over 7f32yards at Hobart last start, a less impressive effort than his when resuming fourth at Hobart the run before. Finds a nice race and can feature in the finish. GOLDEN PROPHET (4) was out of the money when resuming two runs back then again missed the frame last start when he was never in contention over 1m at Launceston, beaten 1.1 lengths into fourth. Likely improver with strong prospects. JOHNNIE PINCH (5) fought on to score a narrow win at this track over this trip at his last appearance on August 4. Gets some weight relief this time so he is one of the main contenders. ASVA (1) has been in the placings his past two starts, finishing third over 1m at Launceston last time out. Will appreciate a drop in grade. Solid claims on best form.
