This looks a nice race so expect him to be right in the finish. VOLS (1) is yet to break through in eight runs. Finished seventh at his last appearance over 1m at this track (Turf) on July 28. Well placed on this occasion and gets his chance to break the ice. BLACK AS MY HEART (9) returns from a lay-off of 11 months and is having his first run for a new yard. Finished fifth at Santa Anita (Turf) over 6f when when resuming last time in work. Has ability and makes plenty of appeal. BIG BET (6) should be peaking now after finishing second over 1m at Santa Rosa (Turf) last time at the third run of the campaign. Should be poised just off the lead. Sure to be thereabouts.
