HALFWAY LINE (7) has been out of the placings in two runs since a break, the latest when fourth, beaten 2.25 lengths, over 6½f at Santa Anita (Turf) after he got a long way back. Will strip fitter and is worth following up. Group 2 placegetter FAUSTIN (9) is a promising galloper who resumes from a break. Last raced when third over 1m at Santa Anita (Dirt) three months ago. Has never been out of the placings when resuming from two tries. Should camp just off the leaders. Best figures should see him run well. SMART CODE (3) lines up for the first time since September 3.
