Group 1 placegetter MIRAHMADI (2) is back after a break of nine weeks. Went close to a maiden win before the layoff, finishing third at his latest appearance over 6f at Pimlico (Dirt). Opened last prep with a minor placing at Pimlico over 6f. Ready for a bold run. SANTARENA (6) finished second last time out over 6f at Santa Anita (Dirt), making it three career minor placings. Has been in the frame at all two runs over this trip. Should be prominent from the outset. Likely to feature. SCHWARZMEIER (8) was prominent on the corner and battled on well to finish second last start over 6½f at Los Alamitos (Dirt), beaten 0.3 lengths when fresh from a lay-off. Taking on a better line-up this time but he is up to the challenge. DAGGER RANCH (9) has not raced since his debut on August 5 over 6f at this track (Dirt) when he finished fourth, beaten 2.25 lengths. Worth following up.
