NEEDAWINNA (9) ran well on debut last start to finish third over 5¼f at Gold Coast Poly in a tougher race. Sure to take a lot from that hitout so she should pay to follow. LITTLEMISSCANCAN (8) finished sixth two runs back then improved last start but found a couple better over 5½f at Toowoomba, beaten 3.5 lengths after being in the firing line on the turn. Faces an easier assignment so she is a major player. VIENNA ROSE (11) is a three-start maiden who returned last time and finished fourth at Ipswich over 4f, beaten 2.5 lengths. Among the leading chances with the run under her belt. DECEPTIVE (1) showed early speed from an outside draw and held a forward position before fading to finish tenth, beaten 7 lengths, last start over 5½f at Gold Coast. Cannot be underestimated.
