HUSS ON FIRST (7) turned in a modest performance when fourth last time out over 5f at Toowoomba, beaten 4.5 lengths. That followed a win at Warwick at the previous outing. Finds a suitable race and can play a major role. NICCI DE ROSA (8) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 4f65yards at Gatton, beaten 6 lengths into eighth. Suitably placed so anticipating a big run this time. GYPSY TRICKS (4) resumed over 4f65yards at Gatton last start and was too good for his rivals, scoring by half a length. Fitter for that last hitout and is among the better chances.
