EQUAL POWER (4) wasn't far away on debut last start over 5f at Mornington, finishing fourth and beaten 2.25 lengths. Big chance based on that effort. ECHELON (11) missed the placings on debut two starts back then ran a better race and finished one length away in fourth last time out over 5f at Seymour after being in contention on the corner. Likely improver with strong prospects. PRIDE OF LANKA (12) has not raced since his debut on April 26 over 5f at this track when he finished fifth, beaten 4.5 lengths. Will take a lot from that last run and is worth following up. EXPRESS YO'SELF (6) was one of the favoured runners when resuming last start but could only manage to finish fifth over 5f at Mornington. Can do much better this time.
