VAMPIRE MISS (12) showed little early speed and was always well back last start when 11th, beaten 12 lengths, over this journey at Cranbourne. Ideally placed and is sure to give this a mighty shake. LORD PORCHESTER (3) finds it hard to win with just one success from 15 starts. Again tasted defeat last start when fifth over 7f at Warrnambool, beaten 1.75 lengths. Placed to advantage and can feature in the finish. VEGAS ON FIRE (6) took advantage of the good draw and sat on the pace last start before tiring to finish ninth, beaten 7 lengths, over 1m at Hamilton. Another bold showing is expected. BOSS CONI (5) hit the frame when resuming two runs back at Warracknabeal but couldn't back it up last start when eighth, beaten 6 lengths, over 7f at Hamilton. Likely improver with top-three prospects.
